ASUS Crosshair not able to recognize AMD X2 6000+

I just updated to to latest bios (203) and the bios still says it is an unknown processor. Is there any support for tth 6000+ on the crosshair mobo yet?

did you update the bios because you had this problem or did you update just to update because it might be that the new bios version doesnt work with the processor but the older does.

I dont really know anything about the asus crosshair board so i cant help you there. Try different bios versions and see if that helps. Also, maybe one of your other components is faulty. Maybe you have a bent or missing pin on the processor. Perhaps one or more of your components is bad. If you just bought this i suggest returning them for a replacement and see if you just got a bad part or something.

You need BIOS 502 to support the 6000+ on the crosshair
