hey guys, i have a 9600 core clock of 500, mem clock of 290. I was wondeing what a good OC would be for this without risking too much damage. I have stock cooling, terrible DDR ram 640 MB, northwood p4 2.8 ghz. I have already clocked it it speeds of 580 core clock, 297 mem clock temperatures reach around 55 under cod 2. So how much Oc can i do more? is this OC too high? or can i go way further. Thank you

Any more overclock would yield a marginal performance improvement while increasing the chances of ruining the card or increasing instability. Quit while you're ahead.

Agreed. Don't overclock it more without a proper GPU cooler. And even then your investing too much money into a very old card. My two cents: Buy a new graphics card unfortunately. Your 9600 is going to become very stressed out sooner than you think.
