Stumbled Upon 7950GT AGP?

I was browsing Newegg and found this. Too much $$$ to spend on AGP IMO. Did I miss something? I never heard anything about these being released in AGP.

Yeah, so far it's just XFX. They have a 7900GS AGP also. There was a XFX rep talking about the 7950GT a couple weeks back. Still too expensive for sure, priced like the X1950XT AGP.

Yeah, I saw that it was around the same price as that gecube X1950XT they have there. The 7900GS caught me a bit off gaurd as well, but isn't really worth it when some X1950pros can be had for cheaper.

well Nvidia needs something in AGP thats fast, i mean what they have in the fast AGP segment is

7600GT
6800GS
7800GS

they needed one of these cards so these slower cards can play in the lower price range
