I have a HT ready processor, Mobo, and chipset. Yet I do not have it running on my system. I have dealt with the mobo support, and they say I need a fresh install of windows. I can't do that because it is pre installed software. Bios does not give me the option, but even if it did it is supposed to be enabled by default.

Is there anything in windows that anyone knows of that I may have turned off, or a way to enable or access it through windows... I have XP pro SP2.

how have you determined that windows doesn't recognize the HT drivers?
go to start > run > msinfo32, on the first page which is summary, how many processors does it show?

Make sure HT is enable in your bios. Most mobo's can enable or disable this feature.
