LED lights drivers

ok so i say some LED lights that would react to the music you play when connected to the computer threw a usb cable. This was at Circuit City. I was wondering, is it posible to customise the driver so that the lights will flash whenever i shot in Counter Strike. That would be awesome....so anyone that knows about drivers and anything else thats relevant, pls help me. I want to do this during christmass brake.

All the lights I've seen operate with a sound sensor. The sensor is usually placed by the speakers - the USB just supplies power - so there is no driver to customize.
