Search instead of open folder???

By all the gods... :? I was playing around with new icons and stuff in WinXP and all of a sudden I can´t open a folder! When I double-click one it automatically starts a search of that folder instead of opening it and showing its contents.
I tried reverting to the standard icons but it didn´t do any good!

Please HEEEEEEEEELP!

Anyone? Please, it´s driving me insane!

From Windows Explorer, Tools --> Folder Options... --> File Types. What are the Actiion for Folder under Advanced?
