PC acting a little wierd!!!

Occasionally when I have either firefox browser or IE6 up and when I minimize my browser or exit out of it, my whole screen goes blank. Everything from my desktop items and my taskbar disappears for a second or 2. The only thing on my desktop that doesn't go blank is my desktop picture. Any ideas why this happens? :twisted:

Explorer itself is crashing and then restarts itself, but is not Alerting( Windows Service ) that it occured.Usually an add-on or corrupted toolbar
causes this in IE,Firefox,Netscape.The culprit could be anti-phishing like Microsoft's conflicting with non-updated 'Caller-ID' or with non-updated 'Verification Engine'.
At the top of your browsers click Tools-(Manage)Add-ons
Disable half of them and see;
re-enable and disable other half;
re-enable and disable half of half and see;
repeat to narrow down further and further.
