Odd question

I'm not a novice when it comes to computers but I figured its better to make sure about this. Is it possible to run DDR2 667 RAM with DDR2 800 on the same motherboard?

it will all run at 667 though...and mixing brands and speeds is not recommded bu tit does usually work.

It will run, but slower. IMO, DDR2 667 RAM isn't worth it because DDR2 800 RAM is almost the same price.

where do you buy your ram then? all the ones on newegg that ive looked at have a $20+ difference and a $20+ difference is big for a student, lol. only ask the question is cause im upping to 2x 1 Gig DDR2 800 and someone i know wanted more ram. thats what i thought would happen though. thanks for the info.
