My ActiveSync connection connects and then about 20 seconds later drops the
connection. How do I determine what is happening?

There is a log in c:\documents and settings\username\local
settings\temp you can look at. I know it will show you it is dropping.
I can't guarantee though you will get any useful info out of it.

i used to have that problem, my guess is that ur smartphone wen a program is opened it closes it automatically down, this is wat it is doing to ur active sync, u shud save all the stuff u need by using the 20 secs connnection, then hard reset your fone, thats wat i did and it works :)
