ok... i've heard that having more than 2 gigs of ram for gaming and applications use is redundant, that other parts of the computer are the bottleneck? is this true?

if i have a very high end graphics card, a very high end cpu, will having only 2 gigs of ram be a bottle neck? I'm figuring that when the R600 releases, it'll either kick ass and i'll buy that, or it will force invidia to have a price drop on some of their cards... the plan is to get a nice cpu and gpu, and then get some cheap ddr2 800 2gig ram sticks...

is that a good idea or will my ram be a bottleneck?

i've also heard 32 bit vista does not recognize more than 4 gigs.... what are the advantages of having more than 2 gigs of ram?

where will i see the benefits of having more than 2 gigs of 800 ddr2 ram?

is there any point to getting 1000 ram or higher?

does my ram affect how high i can overclock my cpu?

i just need someone to help me understand some of the basic functions of ram... there forums are a godsend. if any of you have any advice as to any of the questions above, i'd be grateful.

thanks alot :)

oh... here is the cheap ram i'm looking at
