hi guys
im having a problem with my wireless internet here
im using a wireless router with ADSL and ethernet all in one - D-Link DSL-G604T
and my pc is using the D-Link USB Wireless Dongle - D-Link AirPlusG Wireless USB Adapter
the thing is after i install the dongle driver and connect it to the pc, i can detect the router
so i configure the router using the wizard
to set the thing to PPPoE yada yada yada and the username and password for the router
here's the thing
i cannot connect to the internet through the dongle
but my laptop can...its frustrating
i reset the router and did the same thing
this time using belkin's Wireless USB Dongle
the same thing happened
i couldnt connect to the internet
when i clicked internet explorer, it says connecting to site 1.0.0.0 - DUH?
there was only once that the internet could connect...but that was for a few minutes
later it just went like usual....no internet
but the laptop stayed strong...internet...all fast and smooth
oh and when i put in through the ethernet wire, still the same
there's the router
but no net
however, when i kept the wireless router aside, and put up my good ol' ethernet router (too by d-link) and my generic Aztech broadband modem, everything's ok
please help
i dunno whats going on with all this
