My computer plays video fine most of the time (youtube, dvds, windows media player, etc.) but trying to play aol video and tv doesn't work. Any ideas?
First 'Bad Error' message comes up then 'We're sorry, the clip you are trying to play is not currently available. Please excuse this inconvenience and try again later. [EC-NAF]'
Is this really a problem on their side which is common and annoying but just needs patience or something I'm doing wrong?
I get the same problem, could this simply be that AOL are now creeping to the RIAA and Hollywood and just not allowing any American vids to be played in the UK. I have never managed to get a straight answer from AOL but of course thats nothing new. Bit by bit they are closing down the net it seems.
"We're sorry, the clip you are trying to play is not currently available. Please excuse this inconvenience and try again later. [EC-NAF]."
or
"Unexpected error occurred. (timezone)"
I have a USA AOL account but I am accessing it in the UK over another ISP. I had this problem with a paid account - as well as a free AOL one. This was one of the reasons I decided to pack in my paid account after 11 years on AOL!
It applies to most AOL video contect, whether fun videos or even news items. It doesn't affect feeds from ABC, CBS, CNN presented in AOL News. The ads before the feature often work, but not the feature itself.
