AVG anti-virus 7.5 free edition on windows ME, error message

Error: Action failed for file avgcfg.dll: creating backup....
Access is denied. (5) %DESTINATION% = "C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Free\avgcfg.dll.install_backup", %SOURCE% = "C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Free\avgcfg.dll"

this message occurs when i try to UNINSTALL AVG 7.1, i think?
a message much like it occurs when i just try to install the dl'ed avg 7.5


but, ive heard that ur supposed to check unistall AVg FREE when it asks u to, when ur doing the 7.5 installation

so, basically, any help would be appreciated.

uhm, i think it might be running, but if i remember correctly, when i started the installation process the avg icon disapeered from the sys tray...so idk...when i have time to try that ill gert back, but any more suggestions?
will 7.5 take care of deleting 7.1?
