Hi guys, I am having trouble with an emachines that has been acting up over the previous 2 weeks. No matter what is running in any user, even if no applications are running in the task manager, the logon screen shows one process is running for all logged on users. Also, the computer has restarted itself about 3 times on its own during this period.

The antivirus installed is Computer Associates eTrust EZAntivirus, but it has been installed on this pc for awhile, so I don't think it is directly causing the problem. Has anyone heard of a virus that does this? Thanks and a cookie goes to the guy who can solve this.
