Is WinXP Build 2600 the FINAL release from MS? That is, is it the same as the one we will buy on Oct 25?

Or is 2600 still a trial & beta version?


Sorry, I read some posts in this forum, but still cannot find a clear answer, I have no idea what's that Devilown thing. I just want a clear & simple anwser.

2600 is the final version. The Devils Own version is the real deal as far as whats gonna be released on Oct 25th.

I've only had the chance to play with XP a little bit so far, but it's probably like previous Windows versions. Under Properties of My Computer.

To see build and if you have pro or home, go to run and type winver.
