I just bought a new computer built specifically for video editing. From what I've read it is easily Vista ready, but do I really need it. I got MCE from Newegg and it comes with a coupon for Vista Home Premium, which looks pretty sweet. Should I stick with MCE, get the free Vista anyway and save it for later if I need it, or install it right away.

My specs:
E6600
1 Gb Wintec Ampo DDR2 667 (plan on adding 1 Gb in the spring)
Evga 7600 GT
320 Gb WD

One more thing- apparently Vista has 3rd party software issues. I currently use Pinnacle Studio 10 and Nero 6 for video work. I do plan on upgrading to Avid Liquid this summer, though.
