8800GTS DRIVER?

I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on what driver i should use for my new evga 8800gts 320mb (xp service pack2). . I have the latest drivers installed from nvidia's website but I'm not sure if they're the best because my card is running really loud (n pretty warm) even when I'm not gaming, and I know its not heating issues in my case because its pretty well ventilated. Any info would help thanks.

The latest drivers from the nVIDIA's website is the best i think.
i use the Forceware 97.94 & my Graphic card is very silent, even when my GPU reaches 78~80c under very heavy load.
use nTune or Riva Tuner & tell us your Idle & Under Load Temps.
maybe your card really has heating issue!

Oh, sorry for double post but i forgot to tell you that what is your system spec? specially your power supply?

umm i hav a 500W apevia/aspire psu that came wit the x-navigator case . . and i hav an athlon x2 5200+ (2.6 ghz) along wit 2GB 667 pc5300, and an ecs nforce4ma mobo . . . i'd say its pretty decent lol . . the 8800 gts i have is factory overclocked to 576/1700

and what I'm observing is that before gaming, the card is pretty silent and generally cool wen I'm just doin regular stuff on the comp . . but once gaming starts and even 20-30 minutes after gaming the fan is loud and high so thats what I was wondering about

yea looks like I'm gonna hav to download ntune wen I get home tonite from work and see what the temps are readin
