8600GTS OC?

XFX 8600GTS - $199 (675 MHz)
XFX 8600GTS OC - $219 (720 Mhz)

Is it worth $20 to get the over clocked version or is it as simple as doing it myself using software? Is there any difference and would moving it myself to 720Mhz cause any risk to the video card?
