Time Warner's Pace DC-550HD STB

Is anyone else using that particular HD STB (Pace DC-550HD) with Time
Warner?

I'm beginning to wonder if I have a bad box and should ask Warner for a
replacement.

The cable broadcast coming out looks decent (HD content looks great), but
the component passthrough introduces quite a bit of artifacting and
bleeding. It looks horrible with everything that I've tried passing through
it such as a progressive DVD player, Microsoft X-Box, Sony PS2, and even
Nintendo GC. There is enough artifacting and color bleeding that the
passthrough is basically rendered useless.
