Problem with IE & Yahoo messenger

My IE and yahoo messenger dont work, although utorrent & Firefox works very well. i have an adsl connection my firewall and antivirus is Zone alarm ans i uptodate . i have run ping for yahoo and google and 75%loss was the result! Any one can help me?
