Hello guys! Long time lurker, second or third time poster.

I've got my build in order but need help deciding between a Mid-ATX Tower or a Full Tower.

My build is a

Motherboard:
ABIT AW9D LGA 775 Intel 975X ATX Intel Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813127014

Processor: E660 Conroe

2 Gigs of Ram
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145034

Video Card: 8800 GTS 320mb
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130038

PSU: Thermaltake W0106RU
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817153039

Plus two hard drives and one cd drive.

I'm going to be overclocking the living crap out of this build so I am expecting lots of heat. Which would work best? A mid or a full? Would the extra room of a full help airflow? Also, will the 8800 GTS fit in a Mid tower?

I'm actually going to guy a cheap tower and mod it myself but I'm having trouble deciding the size. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time!

For water cooling, a full tower is usually better. With a full tower, you don't have to plan so much on the tube routing, and you shouldn't have to have as sharp of bends in the tubes.

A full tower almost always has better airflow than a mid-tower, due to less constriction and cramping of the components, as well as the sheer fact that it has more room around the components.

Most newer mid-tower cases will accomodate the 8800, however, most will require plannng of how to install your components to avoid problems. Full tower cases usually do not have this problem.

On an off-topic note, if you are going to OC that build to the max, I would probably look at different ram. Corsair is good ram, but not the best. Corsair stopped using the Micron D9GMH ram chips, which is the preferable ram for overclocking.

You might wanna look into other brands that do use the D9GMH chips. In most cases, you can find this ram even cheaper in price than Corsair. I know this because thats what I did.

If you don't go liquid cooling, then definitely get a high-end air cooler for that CPU or your OC won't go anywhere but south.

Thanks! My Father owns a Computer Fan company so I get all the fans I want. Just have to make sure the airflow is good enough. And that I have a couple blowing on the CPU, GPU, RAM, ect.
