multiple monitors in device manager and tv-out not working!

hey!

I have a problem - my gfx-card is a bfg8800gfx oc - suddenly my tv-out doesn't work. I can choose, dual sceens ect. in "nview display settings", but no picture on the tv. Even without no cable in the tv, i can still choose dual sceens ect. in "nview display settings".
Furthermore the device manager shows multiple screens;

i have un-and-reinstalled drivers

more info: even though I uinstall the "monitors" in the device manager - they come back after restart?!!

this is getting annoying - please help someone!

try de clocking - and does it work with a normal moiter

the card is oc'ed from the manufacturer! can't declock it. and only got this monitor

did you remember to install the vivo drivers?

hmmm....i'll try that, but the tv-out worked perfectly before, without VIVO driver! It seems strange to me that i can choose a second screen when no other monitor is connected.

*just found out - 8800 serie doesn't use vivo

maybe they does anyway. found a wdm driver on the driver cd. but the problem is still there!

this seems a bit bascic but could it e the cable. what is it DVI, try another even if it new,if you dont have one buy one and if thats not the problem take it back saying it doesnt work in your machine

it cant be the cable - it works perfectly on my laptop.
Do u think i could be a malfunction in the tv-out part of the card??
