Hi everyone, Ill thank you in advance. This is what i would like to do. Right now i have a PC (Specs in my tag) that is in my bedroom ov my apartment. I am currently building a HTPC for my livingroom that will hook up to my 32 inch lcd tv.

What i would like to do is stream my movies and music over my LAN (wired) to my HTPC from my computer in my bedroom. I was wondering if i was going to have any quality lose when it media goes over the network.

Basically i am trying to get away with an 80 gb harddrive in my HTPC and use my 750GB hd in my computer for my movies and music. I would also like to record tv on those harddrive. THanks.
