Novice Intake Fan Question

Hi,

This may sound very stupid, but I can't find a definitive answer anywhere.

I'm embarking on my first-ever build with an Antec Solo case, and purchased a couple of 92mm Tricool fans for the optional front intake.

Am I correct in thinking that the "front" concave-bladed side would be for exhaust, and that I should turn it around to the "back" side to position it for air intake?

Typically, the side of the fan, that has the wiring coming from the fan, and leading out to the edge of the fan shroud, is the back of the fan.

If all else fails and you are still confused, plug the fan in and see which direction the air blows.

Your second suggestion is an excellent one.

To the OP: yes, the concave-bladed side should be the exhaust side.

Seconded. I have one sitting in front of me right now. Concave side has the Antec sticker......it is the exhaust side.
