Does anyone know if RAID supports SMART and if so, can you point me to a software that reads the values? By RAID i mean of course a RAID controller (any).

Thanks

Try Speedfan or Hitachi hard drive fitness test.
Not sure if it works, b/c I don't have Raid.

I haven't tried those yet, i have though tried a lot of other special programs like HD Investigator and others that support SCSI. No luck though. :( On my older system with a VIA KT600 chipset i could get SMART info even from the RAID controller. On my newer 975X i can't seem to get any support at all. I know its not the Northbridge's job, but i can't remember the southbridges now, so i provide that info.
