Graphic acceleration problem

Hello i am having another problem, this time almost everything is working. Well i got all my drivers installed and working. When my hardware acceleration meter is all the way up with write combing enabled my pc freezes about every 5- to 10 minutes, then the screen turns on and off like 3 times then stays there for a while(on that frozen screen) then reboots. And sometimes when i turn on my computer it loads windows on a blue screen. Its like baby blue and its only my mouse. It stays like that for 10 minutes then restarts. I have the newest driver and everything is new (bios other drivers etc.). So i got this error in xp telling me to put my hardware acceleration meter on no acceleration and un check the writing box. So now i put these settings and I cant play any games, but my pc never crashes. So i put back the setting to max still had the same problem as before. I tried the in between setting but only works when disabled.Is there anything i can do to make everything function normally and my pc not freeze(have hardware acceleration enabled etc.)
PS: my ps is good enough and is there any chance my card is damaged?
