This is what I want to do, have one HDD run work-related stuff (video editing apps) and another for general PC use (games & surfing, but I don't want them to cross paths with each other, the reason I want to do this is that it's more organized for me and more safer. (Do I need 2 OS's?) I plan to do this process with two Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB SATA NCQ 3.0Gb/s

Does anyone have a link that I can go to to set this kind of thing up? or can anyone tell me how achieve this setup.

Install VMWare after your initial XP setup on one of the SB's.

Then you can install the other XP inside of VMWare using the other hd.

You can find it here:

What does SB stand for? and I heard that VMware "emulates" the other OS into the HD, so that would probably hurt my systems performance wouldn't it??

Seagate Barracuda

Would not hurt performance.

If you're not comfortable with trying VMWare; it's relatively new - and I thought you would get a kick out of working with it; you could always install a second XP - making sure that you choose the empty SB to do that with.

Then you would have a dual boot scenario.
