Hi im getting an PC upgrade and have the choice of a free vista upgrade? Should i? or should i pass?

The new PC is...
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6600 Processor
2048MB Dual Channel DDR2 533MHz
320GB Serial ATA RAID 0 Stripe
Creative X-Fi Soundcard
256MB nVidia® GeForce® 7900GS graphics card

Just incase u needed to know.... The PC comes with XP..

Advice would be much appreciated :D

So you're getting a free vista upgrade? So what's the reason not to? :roll: Your PC will work prefectly fine, and Vista is better than XP...so win-win situation IMO.

Yes but would Vista be full of bugs? And would it definatly work better than XP with my spec?

At the beginning, yes, there will be bugs. give it a few months everything should be fine. Or, Microsoft really suprised me and there's no bugs or security holes at all upon release and into the future. :P But I guess the chance of that is very small, lol.
Microsoft said upon realease it'll support a lot more hardware, so compatibility won't be an issue, I think. For your spec, it will defintely be much better than xp. There are quite a lot of nice new stuff in it too.
