I have a Corsair 4GB Voyager USB Flash Drive. It's recognized on all my computers running Windows XP and on the rear USB ports on the machine running Windows 2000 but not on the front ports. Under Device Manager when it's plugged in one of the front ports there is the yellow circle with an ! in. When I do a driver update, Windows finds a driver , it tries to install it and I get a message the installation fails. When I remove the drive there is no warning in device manager. Mobo is a M2NPV-VM and Windows 2000 is fully updated. The case is an Antic 635 and to connect the front USB Ports you have to attach each wire individually, forget if it's 8 or 10 wires. The drive shows up in Safely Remove Hardware as a Mass Storage Device. Thanks

The problem could be that the front USB port plugs are not plugged in correctly or the USB port has a problem.

I was afraid if might be the connection to the board. Unfortunately, the mobo instructions and the designation of the plugs don't match
