I've got a 32 in 16:9 lg monitor. My desktop resolution is 1366x768.The desktop is spread on the whole screen. There aren't many games that support widescreen ,ive managed to find scarface, gothic 3,and lately splinter cell:double agent. While in scarface when i set the resolution in 1360x768 everything runs like it is supposed to,in the other two games i've got black bars appearing on the top and bottom side of the screen.I've tried everything but can't get full widescreen...any thoughts?

Have you tried this site?

Sounds to me like your LCD isn't upconverting the signal, so I'd try that site to see how to force your games to run at that res.

Good luck.
