Vista Benchmarks here

ok here it goes..


Amd 4000+ 1gig cl2.0 7600gt .. newest drivers from nvidia .. vista build 6000 32 and 64bit.



vista -Counterstrike Source"mat_bumpmap 1 ,mat_specular 1 " = 80fps
vista -Counterstrike Source"mat_bumpmap 0, Mat_specular 0 " = 80fps
ingame 22man server 30-35fps constant

xp pro 'bumpmap 1 ,specular 1 , = 130fps
xp pro 'bumpmap 0, specular 0 , = 190-230fps

ingame 22man server 50-120 fps variable .. 50fps when there was
massive actiona and names and smokes at the same time.

.u will notice that chaging bumpmap and specular dont help both vistas , I wonder why.in a server with Vista I would get 30-35 fps wich is unplayable. Since source is mostly based on cpu power I wonder if theres an upadate that source needs to do to fix the problem , I dont think its the driver affecting it..


World of Warcraft = 85fps xp pro ..
World of warcraft = 85fps vista 32/64bit

dont ask how i did the test cause it takes long to explain .. oh well Vista is cool though . it feels stable and fast but its not worth it yet till new nvidia drivers come out .. or cpu drivers.

u will definetly lose fps on source, its mostly a constant 30-35fps with xp i get an averange of 80-90 fps,
