STOP TYPING IN ALL CAPS! NOBODY IS GOING TO HELP YOU!

Yes, you can mix and match memory brands. It's not the best thing to do, since some IC's dont work well when used together, but unless your getting a bunch of errors or something of the like it's fine.

I suggest you run memtest for a couple hours before anything else, it'll make sure the ram is ok.

The only way to speed up ram is by oc'ing it, but unless you have an AMD cpu and really slow ram, or are oc'ing your cpu it isnt nessary.

Your P4 is already at a pretty high clock speed, and those things run hella hot, so your not going to get much more speed out of it unless you get a decent aftermarket hsf. Whatever you do dont a buy another P4 or PD, they're out of date cpu's, your next cpu upgrade should be to either a C2D or a dual core Athlon.

Without knowing the specific model number of your ram sticks I cant say for sure how high you'll be able to oc them. AFAIK, Spek-Tek uses mainly Micron IC's, so it might oc pretty well. Never heard of a ram company called extream though...
