will my Gainward BLISS GeForce 7800 GS "Goes Like Hell" 512MB be sufficently powered with my FSP Blue Storm 500W powersupply with

i am running a 3400+ 64 AMD with 1GB pc3200 ram. 2 CD drives and 2 200GB hdds (of which one can be unplugged if necessary as i hardly use it!!!)


any help will be much appreciated

thanks alot... i just bought one of those cards nd thought......... crap does me psu have enough juice on its 12V rails!!!

any other points of view will be greatly appreciated
 
I also think it will work out just fine.

The one thing about calculating your max power requirements, I have found it is an unattainable number since all your components will not be running at 100% simutaneously. According to the manufacturer's specs (pdf link) this unit is rated at +12v@15A per rail continuous within the ATX spec (page 5 and 6) under various load conditions. Max / peak values are undoubtedly higher.

cheers for the help guys. i think the psu will manage after looking around on other forums..

if i recive any instability i will unplug me 2nd Hdd and see if that helps i reckon.
