Has anyone (in the UK) tryed those Ebuyer value fans?

Its like 90p for a 120mm, 60 for an 80mm and 40 for a 60mm.
then theres some with leds that are about £2.

Even if they're little bit noisy or will break in 6 months, they're so cheap you could just order 5 for backups.

But avoid the Noctuas, it turns out they are among the best in open resistance-free environment but in real-life applications their performance drops more than other top fans.

This review is pretty nice - 26 fans compared, low/mid and high-speed fans.

This is a great review. Once again it shows that the Noctua's performance severely degrades when not in "open air"

I regret having purchased them.

Check this out

There are a few in that review that I've never heard of and perform pretty well. Although I was disapointed the there weren't any Silenx fans in the review I would have liked to see how they compare.

I rock 5 Silverstone FM121 with a Vantec fan controller and even on low they push a descent amount of air in my opinion and at lowest setting the only fan I hear is my Tuniq tower fan.

Yep. They're OK. I have never had any break on me. They do tend to be noisy as hell, though. But not everyone cares about silence. After all, you get used to pretty much any constant noise.

I would like to mention the new SilenX fans (120mm) also. They have fairly decent airflow vs noise performance.
NewEgg is finally stocking SilenX fans. I was about to stray from the Egg just to try these on my summer build, but i don't have to. At least it keeps me from having to order from more than 2 e-tailers.
(Still going to get my case elsewhere) 8)
