E6600 vs E6700 What are the differences?

I want to buy an e6600, but just wanted to know what differences there are with an e6700 beside the slightly higher clock speed.

Aside the insignificant clock difference, it also has a bigger price tag! Arch wide, there's no difference between the two.

Nothing other then the clock speeds.

The e6700 has a higher multi, so it won't require you to pump your fsb up so high to get the same over clock, but that is pretty much it.

the higher mult. of e6700 is of use to those who plan to oc.

not worth the £140 extra then, since i don't like oc'ing.

my experince is the better chips go into x6800 and q-chips those work well at 10-11 mutliplier

the 9 multiplier works better with the lower end C2D chips

thats why the e6600 is the better chip
