Aside the insignificant clock difference, it also has a bigger price tag! Arch wide, there's no difference between the two.

Nothing other then the clock speeds.

The e6700 has a higher multi, so it won't require you to pump your fsb up so high to get the same over clock, but that is pretty much it.

my experince is the better chips go into x6800 and q-chips those work well at 10-11 mutliplier

the 9 multiplier works better with the lower end C2D chips

thats why the e6600 is the better chip
