2.7-2.8ghz they run nice! with a newer better chipset you can get 3.2-3.4ghz

The main drawback of the E6320 is the low multiplier, its at 7x. This means, compared to chips with higher multipliers such as the E6420 or E4300/E4400, you need a faster FSB to hit a given clockspeed, which puts added stress on the chipset and memory.

Be careful in choosing a motherboard that is capable of hitting high FSBs (500FSB capable is best). You will also need DDR2-800 or better to hit 3GHz+ speeds.

Cause some people are cheap, frugal, or just plain broke (like me). :D

But with the prices continuing to drop, or at least, drop lately, it does get a bit hard to not just get the E6600.

Why? The 6320 bench's higher than the 6600. And it's cheaper, but I'm not one of those people like you who pay more for a higher model number and think I'm getting a better product.

How does that work? 6320 and 6600 are both 4MB Cache/1066 FSB parts. The 6320 is clocked at 1.86GHz and the 6600 at 2.4Ghz. :?:

Looks like the E6320 and E6420 are having some description problem in Newegg.

See if you can find it:

What, the price? The price is accurate-ish.
