I got 1.7 thru that one step update program. I don't see what the improvements are yet becasue it's not available on the website yet.

If you're going to update, make sure you've got your current setting saved in one of the 5 F6 slots during startup, otherwise you're going back thru everything to get the settings you took so long to get dialed in.

BIOS ID:17

Fixed the issue that the system hangs during Vista installation, when using a Kentsfield CPU.
Fixed the issue where the system sometimes hangs on POST code 2A.
Fixed the JMB363 performance issue.
JMB363 now works as intended when enabling ICH8R RAID ROM.
The "EIST adjusting" function now works as intended.
BIOS compiled date: 4/2/2007

been out for almost a month on the global website & ftp
