I have a board i got burned on ASUS A8N-32 Deluxe only one PCI-E Slot is working I have a regular 3200+ Single core 939 chip 2 Gigs XMS on it I never seen Sli . My Question is Should i RMA and Look for Dual Core 939 and run SLI ! OR Should i invest in a Better Video Card for the e4300 Core 2 Duo DG965WH With only one PCI-E Slot I Hear the 8800 VID CARD will run sli in One slot ! However i am not sure if this Board will Light up IN Sli !!! As it is only designed with one slot . I Know the Core 2 Duo Is newer But I Hear SLI Is the Ultimate in Game Play ! Got time to play around once i get to a rv Park and wait out a RMA

It might be best if you list what you have, what you are going to view stuff on, and what games you are going to play. the 8800 series is the best cards out there and only the serious hard core gamers need two of them. I would not buy another 939 CPU. So we can check your options, list what you have.

1. - Definitely have ASUS fix the damn board. It is worthless broken. You need two working slots for SLI.

2. - I think the SLI-Premium board has 16X for both PCI-E slots. It also has a soft-switch icon to shut down SLI when doing low demand tasks like web-surfing or homework. Your mb should have that also.
