Please post all your nonsensical DRM, Vista costs $US300bn for a retail licence or Bill Gates will come to your house and give you a wedgie if you so much as change your mouse or keyboard let alone a motherboard on your PC arguments here.

Good day

I hear that you have to reinstall Vista every time you switch your PC on, and buy a new license. Is this true? :p

Lol I know this 306maxi dude...he could or -maybe work for microsoft....he maybe put a lot of work in vista and he does not like it to be a total failure product.....so he whines against everybody who tell one little negative thing about Vista wether it's true or false (just kidding).....my question will be.....yes >>>>question<<<< not a statement 306maxi......my question will be if Vista is programmed to track down people who download mp3's and some way to high priced applications. In other words.....can we state that Microsoft can be compared to The Police now? I sure hope not as I read in Dutch articles that Vista has a backdoor allowing Microsoft being able to monitor peoples pc's. People will lose their privacy. Hope it's not true for a lot of people spending this amount of money on this product.

So far.....only that my TV tuner does not yet work despite my best effort (see thread above this one please for ideas/replies). I really like the look and the ability to address more than 2 or three gigs of memory at once will certainly bring some good gaming in the future :D but.........at what price? I for now an only going to have it on this one computer to see how it acts with different applications and while doing different things. I can tell you one other thing that sucks so far....I have a lot of music on one of my HD's and media player will not play a single track. Thats right....not wave or MP3. Maybe its something simple that I have to find but out of the box...that really sucks.
I will probably revisit this thread

Shut up you moron. I don't work for Microsoft at all. If you must know I call people up who've been on the website of the company I work looking for a mortgage and connect them to a mortgage advisor in their area. Microsoft doesn't even have any operations in Wales as far as I know. I care about Vista because it's what every PC will be running within a couple of years and I want to become an MCP and get into desktop support and do something I enjoy rather than custome service work.

Perhaps if you had a brain you'd know THERE IS ALWAYS A BACKDOOR. Programmers always leave a backdoor. Microsoft really don't care what you do on your PC as long as it doesn't harm their business for instance they'd be interested if you were running pirated MS software. If anything it was probably the US government who forced Microsoft to put this backdoor in so they could monitor suspected terrorists. Don't worry Cypher your illegally downloaded porn and MP3's will still work and Microsoft won't come knocking at your down when you're busy having a tug.

Stop being so paranoid and get a life.

Please :)
