I heard that Vista ultimate will come with 10 licenses, allowing you to install it on up to 10 computers. Is this true? If so, it would justify the price to one such as myself who has 4 comps.

The answer is still no. You'd have to be nuts to think MS would give you a ten for one.

Vista Ultimate RC1/2 allows you to install it on up to 10 machines with 1 license, so that the beta testers can see how it runs on different computers. The retail version will only install on 1 PC.

The betas allowed installations on up to 10 machines. The release version is not that generous...only one at a time. However you can get a TechNet Plus Direct subscription for $349 and you do get your 10 machines that way plus Office. You just can't use them for business purposes, only for evaluation. It's perfect for enthusiasts and hobbyists.
