Any DX10 Demos or Sample Apps out?

Are there any directx 10 demos available that show off the new features?

Has anyone tried the nvidia demos on vista?

Like everyone else I'm eager to see what directx 10 can do. I have a 8800 GTS. If I install vista and install the nvidia demos will they look better or perform better?

I don't why MS didn't make some tiny little demo game that shows off the power directx 10.
