Where to buy Ultra 120 Extreme??

I looked through Thermalright's site at all of their online vendors and none of them have one in stock :roll: Anyone know somewhere that does? This us getting a bit frustrating, I just want a damn CPU cooler!!

Thermalright has two new coolers that are on their site and neither have a release date. You can buy the regular Ultra 120 but you'll have to wait for the Extreme or the IFX-14. I'm waiting for the same thing so I know your pain.

Wow, there site says they are in stock on the product page. And it is kinda funny becasue I ordered mine at 8:30 EST this morning and it is on its way to my house now.

But if you scroll to the bottom of the product page it says that they sold out today, and they are expecting a shipment in around the 30th.

After seeing the out of stock, I called them up to verify my order. The order is complete and is just waiting on UPS to pick up, have the tracking number etc.

Im just hoping Thermalright fixed the 775 mounting problems pointed out in the anandtech article.

God I am an idiot. Yeah, I looked right past that. The message that it said was:

Be the first in line to get yours. We just ran OUT of stock today April 24, but the ETA on the
new stock is April 30,

I looked more towards the bottom where it said:

Orderable Yes

That was my fault. I am glad to hear that the early morning shipments are going out.

Yep, he said if you were issued a tracking number your order is 100% boxed and either ready to ship or is being shipped.

I was looking at that site to buy mine from. The issue I had with them is in their picture. It is of the Thermalright Ultra 120, not the Extreme. It may be the right thing or they may just be trying sell the Ultra 120 for a large profit.

Nice, but the thing is that IFX-14 is coming out late this month so I dont think is worth it right now.

Altough have in mind ifx-14 is gonna be like 75-80 bucks

It's supposed to be around $80 and is able to support up to two fans as the result of a new design. However, f the benchmarks show a significant performance difference, it, may be worth it the wait as well as the extra$20.

We have no clue how its going to perform and to be honest with the same number of heat pipes and most likely fins the only performance gain you will probably get is from either using 2 fans or the added heatsink that goes on the back. But for a difference in performance from the already stellar Ultra 120 Extreme is 1-3C really worth 20-30 bucks.

That cooler has been selling like crack so you'll gonna have to wait or get lucky to snag one. One store I know of is Frozencpu.com they sell outstanding range of great coolers.
