I have a WiFi network, using a Netgear DG834PN with WPA-PSK enabled for security. Now, I have a desktop which has good connectivity. It's about 10ft, 1stud and 1 brick wall away from the router.
I also have a laptop, now when I take it up a floor to my room (which is directly above the router) I get very poro connectivity. E.G where my desktop will have 54MB/S, the laptop will have around 5MB/S.
I think the solution would be an extender, however running cables is not a option.
So, in short, I need to find an extender that doesn't require Cat 5 cables to work
An ideas:?:

P.S, have looked at the Netgear WGXB102, but this only works at a max of 10MB/S, and I need faster than that :!:
