Getting very close to pulling the trigger... budget is $2000, this fits :)

Am I forgetting anything or will anything below bite me in the ass? Downgrades? Upgrades? Mistakes?

(and yes, I will use the quad)

Please let me know.

Thanks!

The price of the freezer pro 7 jumped out at me. Newegg is seriously overcharging. Ordering from somewhere else would involve additional shipping costs.

So use their price match.

Price Matching
Newegg.com does not price match competitors but will honor our advertised prices on Pricewatch.com. For your convenience, all of our most current pricing is listed on our web site and updated in real-time. Prices are non-negotiable.
Pricewatch.com Customers
Newegg.com will honor our advertised prices on Pricewatch.com. If there is a price differential, please check the following:
• OEM items are usually cheaper than retail so please verify the product type
• Open Box items are always cheaper than new products
If, after confirming that the Newegg.com price does not match the Pricewatch.com price, please contact us for assistance.

It wouldn't hurt to check the other items while your at it.

Wow. $22shipped is a amazing price. eWiz must have just changed their prices within the last hour or so. I swear I just checked it and the ACF7P was $19.50+$9.60 shipping there.

That's crazy that you can buy 3, including shipping, from eWiz for the same price as 1 from Newegg.

Great tips! I will do the pricematch gig with newegg and see how they respond. I will also check out the p182.

Thanks!

Bummer!

Newegg will only match *their* advertised price. So I can order it from eWiz, and Ill check on those other parts too...

Not like its a big savings, but this was bundled with the retail mobo. So I went with it since people seem to feel the psu is pretty important.

But I wouldnt mind spending less either :)

I also decided to go with the E6600 instead of the Q6600. Ill upgrade to the quads later, I mean how can you go wrong with $230 vs $560 and being able to overclock the crap out of it?
