Just built, computer freezes

Very often that's a bad video card, if you have one.

Is your video controller onboard, or do you have a card?

If you have a card, try swapping it out. If you have something old around? Or, borrow a friends' temporarily?

While troubleshooting, run Memtest for four hours on your ram to rule on that aspect.

Post about your power supply as well.

my psu is in the link(700w seasonic), i ran memtest for a few minutes and orthos test for an hour and 20 minutes. evga support suggested orthos. doesn't seem to be my cpu or memory. i don't have a video card to use =[

Strong suggestion - RMA the mobo, and start over.

While you're re-building, don't overtighten anything - just snug it up.
