I recently had to reload Windows from disk due to a corrupted SHDOC.dll
file. After the reload my computer now takes a long time (2-3 minutes)
to start up. Any suggestions?

Start>Run and type in "msconfig" without quotes. Go to "Startup" tab and uncheck everything on it. Note that this will disabled your antivirus and your firewall it you use a third-party one. Restart and see if it goes faster. If so, go again to"Startup" tab and check one by one untill you find the culprit.
