I tried installing the Asian Language Packs on my laptop (running WinXP Professional) because my dad has to view something from his company, but after I insert the XP CD in, It says that

"Setup cannot copy the files cplexe.exe (copying files from D:\i386\lang)

After I state go on with the install anyway, it cannot copy imjpcic.exe, and then so on, and so on......

Any suggestions, guys?
ThanksXD

All the files in that folder are cab files.

e.g. cplexe.ex_

Create a folder on the "C" drive: lang
Copy&paste the contents of i386\lang to c:\lang
Open a command prompt - Start - run - (type)cmd
(Type) cd\lang to get to that new folder
(Type) expand -r *.*

Now try again, and direct the first error message to c:\lang via Browse.

When you're all finished, delete lang.

Assuming you have an XP install cd; after you insert it - you will get an Autorun options page titled "Welcome To Microsoft Windows XP", one of which is to install XP. You exit out - and click the cd drive icon, which will reveal 5 or 6 folders on the cd, one of which is i386. Hit the + sign to reveal lang.
