Hi gals & guys,

Need to know how best to clean kids fingerprints off my non-reflective 65"
Toshiba Screen. What kind of off-the-shelf cleaning products are best and
what kind of cleaning cloth?

TIA,
JR

I'd recommend going to a camera store and picking up some lens cleaning fluid
and a lens cloth. Make sure the lens fluid is safe for clear coats, but I'd be
surprised if you found one that wasn't. I've always used Henry's products,
which you can buy on-line in either the US or Canada:

Product codes I use are 140CPM002 and 140GET010.

There should be something in your TV manual about how to clean the screen.
I would not touch it with any kind of cleaning solution until I was
absolutely sure of what I was doing. People have ruined their screens doing
that. My Sony RPTV says to just clean the screen with a mild detergent
solution, nothing more. I would first see if the fingerprints would not
come off just by rubbing gently with a soft, dry cloth.

Opti-Max.net

The very best stuff for cleaning any TV screens.

Great, Great product.

A little expensive but very good. I use a microfiber cloth for cleaning.

Good luck...
