Hey all, trying to help out a friend who needs to replace his PC.
He pretty much only plays WoW, he still hasn't emailed me his tech specs. But I do know it's a few years old, still AGP and it's getting alot harder for him to play. He probably doesn't "NEED" to get a new PC, but if he's on AGP like I think he is, he's probably better off. I know there are newer AGP Cards out and "future proofing" is mostly a dream... But anyways hehe.

BYTECC BT-2000 USB to PS2 Adapter - Retail $5.99

he'd prefer under $700

He's got a monitor, HD, Optical. Another question I have is if anyone has experiance with those Ps2/usb adapters? If he can save some cash by not needing to buy a USB mouse/keyboard that would be cool.

You can save more money.
The case is nice but a coolermaster 534 and a $50 PSU will be fine.
You can use a e4300 and he won't notice a thing.
The mb has 2 ps/2 ports, not sure why you would need the adapter

Thanks for spotting the Ps2 thing lol, I didn't even notice it for my build. Saved me $8 =) I thought about the case thing and realized a fifty some thing Case and fifty some thing PSU is only a few bucks lower than the Antec choice. Atleast this way it'll come in one package, hopefully.

You can save quite a bit more money on the CPU, board, and case/PSU.

Go for the e4300 as suggested, with a MSI P965 Neo-F or 945 GZM3-L. Neither overclock like the S3 but it doesn't sound like he's an OCer. Also, you could get a $50 FSP Group PSU and a cheaper (and probably better looking) separate case to save money there.
