I have a windows media center remote that I bought from Newegg, but I decided that I don't like MCE so I just installed windows 2000 on my TV computer and would like to find out if there are any workarounds for using the MCE remote with a non-MCE operating system. It seems to me that there should be a way to get it working since it works under Linux, but of course Microsoft doesn't have any of their own drivers available for anything but MCE to lock you in to that OS. Is there any way to get it working or am I out of luck?
